North Wales HR Business Going From Strength To Strength

HR Anchor, an HR business based in North Wales that was only set up in January 2020, has gone from strength to strength in the past year.
Leader Live revealed that the company is planning to recruit new staff after seeing such great success in its first year of business. It works with businesses ranging from large PLCs to small start-ups requiring initial guidance and advice.
The company was established by the directors of Gamlins Law, a leading law firm in North Wales, and since starting just a couple of months before the Covid-19 pandemic, it has provided guidance to many businesses in the region.
According to the news provider, the company has also provided more than 100 free hours of support to businesses that are battling with the impact of the global pandemic.
They have provided this support through webinars, video content and sharing documentation templates.
Elissa Thursfield, a director of HR Anchor and Gamlins Law, told the news provider that she is “proud” that they have been able to provide so much pro-bono advice at a time when many businesses are struggling.
“The scope and breadth of the work has been vast as have the variety of businesses and charities we have been asked to support,” she added.
There is currently a drive to get more businesses in North Wales to seek investment, after the North Wales Growth Deal was signed off by all six local authorities.
Speaking to the BBC, Alwen Williams, programme director of the North Wales Ambition Board, stressed that there are significant opportunities available for businesses seeking funding at this time, despite the ongoing economic impact of Brexit and the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I think there’s no better time actually to go out into the market with opportunities for business investors to think about,” she asserted.
