Here at Lock Stock Self-Storage, we’re very happy to report that we’ve been shortlisted for the 2016 Daily Post Business Awards, with an award ceremony due to take place next month at Bangor University.

The category we’ve been included in is the Finance Wales Business of the Year (up to 50 employees) award and we’re in excellent company indeed, with the likes of Design Reality and Sage & Company Business Advisors also in the running.

Chairman of the judges and chair of the North Wales Business Club David Williams told the Daily Post: “As judges, one of the key qualities we were looking for was determination allied to a detailed and realistic future strategy. We saw this in so many of the entrants. It was really pleasing to reflect that a true entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well within so many of our businesses in the region.”

It’s such an honour for all the Lock Stock team to even be nominated for such a prestigious award and even if we don’t take home the gold, it’s testament to all our hard work over the last year… and certainly spurs us on to even bigger and better things for 2017 and beyond.

“We identified a real demand for self-storage both for business customers and for the general public and we have grown quite rapidly over the years to meet that demand. We estimate that we have had over 2,125 companies use us over the years, with 627 businesses currently using us, ranging from small one-man operations to giant, household names. It is great to provide a service that can help other local businesses start up or expand,” Lock Stock Self-Storage director Shon Powell said.
