When you are looking for van hire in Chester for your small business needs you will want to make sure that the city is looking its best.
Good looking town centres draw in the crowds and the customers and are essential for any business that relies on footfall to produce a turn over.
Chester has always been a popular town centre with locals and shoppers, and now it is looking even better. This is due to the recent clean up arranged by the local council.
Nick White, city centre manager, said: “One of our key objectives is providing an outstanding city centre welcome so it’s great to once again bring this national campaign to life in our city.
“We’re incredibly lucky to have a beautiful city and along with our city centre partners we work hard to make sure we keep it as clean as we can all year round.”
A little bit of “elbow grease” makes all the difference he added.
The streets that have received a little more TLC than usual include St John’s Street, Bridge Street Row, St Werburgh Street, Bell Tower Walk, Northgate Street Row and Watergate Row, The Chester Chronicle reported.
A total of 75 business shop fronts and entrances were cleaned overnight by a professional cleaning company as part of the efforts, that saw the town centre rendered spick and span by the following morning.
Pigeon deterrents have also been installed on window sills on key locations in the city.
