Lock Stock Self Storage is pleased to announce its latest storage facility in West Bromwich, continuing a significant period of expansion for the business.

The new half-acre storage park, located on Birmingham Road in West Bromwich, will become Lock Stock’s second new site of the summer as the company continues to expand its presence across the UK.

Set to open in September, the new facility will provide 64 secure storage containers in a range of sizes, offering flexible storage solutions for both households and businesses across West Bromwich and the wider area.

The opening forms part of Lock Stock’s wider expansion programme, with the company expecting to acquire a further three to five sites before the end of 2026.

Alan Brightmore, Area Manager at Lock Stock Self Storage, said: “It’s fantastic to be heading to West Brom and we can’t wait to welcome new customers fromacross the area.

“West Brom has been a key target for us, and somewhere we’ve been really keen to bring the Lock Stock brand to.

“The site is another piece of previously undeveloped land that we’re able to bring into productive use, and its location on Birmingham Road makes it ideal for both local residents and businesses.

“We’re really looking forward to getting the gates open and becoming part of the local community.”

The West Bromwich opening comes during one of the busiest periods in Lock Stock’s history, with the company continuing to expand its network of storage parks.

Ollie Beech, Marketing and Communications Officer at Lock Stock Self Storage, said: “This is one of the busiest periods in our near three-decade history, with West Brom becoming our eighth new site opened in the past year or so alone next month.

“We expect to add a further three to five sites before the end of 2026, and that continued growth is a major focus for us as a business.

“West Bromwich is an area we’ve pursued for some time, so we’re thrilled to finally be moving forward with the site and preparing to open our gates to customers this summer.

“As we grow, it’s important that we continue to offer the same friendly, straightforward service that has helped build Lock Stock to become the largest container storage provider in the UK”

Lock Stock’s storage facilities are designed to provide safe, secure and easily accessible storage, whether customers need additional space at home, somewhere to store their belongings while moving house, or extra capacity for a growing business.

Ollie added: “There are so many different reasons why people need storage. For households, it can be as simple as wanting to free up space and declutter, while our containers are also ideal for storing the contents of your home during a house move or renovation.

“One of the biggest benefits of using Lock Stock is the flexibility. You only pay for the storage you actually need, so if you pay for a month but move out after two weeks, we’ll refund the difference.

“Our containers are also extremely popular with local businesses. Whether a business is expanding, needs additional space for stock or wants somewhere secure to keep tools and equipment, container storage provides a really simple and cost-effective solution.”

Security will be a major focus at the new West Bromwich facility, alongside making the site convenient for customers who need regular access to their units.

Alan added: “Security is always one of our top priorities. We know how important tools, equipment and stock can be to someone’s livelihood, so businesses need to know that their belongings are being kept somewhere safe and secure.

“Our sites benefit from CCTV, coded gate access and solar lighting, giving customers added peace of mind when storing with us.

“We also understand that businesses need to be able to access their tools, equipment and stock quickly and easily. That’s why accessibility and convenient locations are so important to us.

“We’re really excited to begin working with residents and businesses across West Bromwich and the wider West Midlands, building new relationships and becoming part of the local community.”

Starting with a single storage site in Denbigh, North Wales, Lock Stock Self Storage has grown significantly for more than 25 years while remaining a family-run business.

Today, the company operates storage parks across an expanding area of the UK, providing secure and flexible container storage to thousands of household and business customers.

The new West Bromwich site represents the latest chapter in that growth, with further expansion planned throughout the remainder of 2026.
