Pure water company Spotless Water, based in Basingstoke, has just held an open day to launch its latest service outlet, celebrating this milestone alongside storage company Lock Stock Self Storage, which plays host to the firm.

Customers were treated to free water and a delicious complimentary breakfast at Lock Stock’s Ruabon Road site in Wrexham, which was certainly appreciated by all those who came down to take full advantage.

There are many businesses that make heavy use of water and for whom a pure water supply is essential for their trade, such as car valeters and window cleaners. Pure water can help to reduce streaks dramatically and slash cleaning times by 25 per cent – and as we all know, business time is money.

Alex Darby of AD CLeaning Services, which operates throughout the Wrexham area, extolled the benefits of using Spotless Water, saying: “This is great when I’m short of water and I’ve already been here a few times. It’s very handy. I’ve got an 800-litre tank and it can fill in eight minutes. It really is a cracking system, much quicker than the one I have at home.”

Lock Stock Self Storage’s sites host the Spotless Water box (which contains 10,000 litres of pure water and weighs 12 tonnes), with each water dispenser connected to the site’s electricity and mains water. This feeds the purifying system, which has 26 internal sensors that measure purity, tank levels and filter lifespan so they’re easily maintained. CCTV cameras monitor their use and their connected remotely to headquarters.
