You want to know that when you’re storing your personal belongings or equipment away that, above anything, it is protected from any kind of damage. No matter where you’re based in the UK – from Reading to Chester – maintaining a storage facility should be a top priority.

St Anthony’s RC Primary School experienced such a problem, as students discovered that the storage unit that housed all their games equipment had sprung a leak.

Lock Stock Self Storage helped the school deal with its troubles by providing a new 640 cubic foot shipping container for students to put their sports equipment into a secure – and dry – place.

Sion Davies, who is the head of year four and five students at St Anthony’s, said that the school was faced with “a problem” in storing the rest of the equipment that had not been damaged by the water.

Jeff Woods, regional manager for Lock Stock Self Storage, said: “We heard about the problem the school had and we were happy to help as they’re neighbours of ours – we did send a welder along to see if the old container could be fixed but it was a simpler option to provide a new one instead.”

The Daily Express reports that the UK is set to experience its hottest spell of July weather in history, but that doesn’t mean that any Brit will not expect the rain to return soon after the end of the summer. Considering most schools are lacking the funding they would want, it is important to ensure that one disaster, such as a water leak, doesn’t set the school back a far way.
