Denbighshire County Council has announced that it will be offering training sessions to help local businesses expand their online presence and grow.
According to Business News Wales the council decided to run additional sessions after its March for Business event was such a success.
During the annual event, which focuses on helping local organisations, more than 400 people attended the sessions that were arranged.
The next set of courses all focus on using social media to help grow a business and are taking place throughout May.
The first is an introduction to Facebook for small businesses on 16 May, with an introduction to Twitter following on 17 May.
Later in the month, on 23 May, a building your business online session will be hosted to round off this programme of events.
It seems that small businesses in Denbigh and elsewhere in Wales could benefit from putting a bit more effort into their social media marketing. A survey conducted by Yell recently revealed that 41 per cent of people are more likely to trust a small business than a large one.
Smallbusiness.co.uk reported that personal reviews are particularly important tools for attracting new custom, with the Yell survey finding that 77 per cent of people would take recommendations from friends or family before using a new small business.
